Sand Creative worked on a local project with Goody ales producing signage for the only bar on the Herne bay pier.

Once a thriving centre to the victorian seaside town, the pier has had several misfortunes and the head of the pier which still houses a crumbing Victorian cafe now sits out disconnected at sea.

The Herne bay pier trust have worked very hard to regenerate whats left of the stubb of the pier, in the hope that the two parts can be rejoined one day. You can read more about the pier here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herne_Bay_Pier

For the Beer on the Pier signage we took inspiration from the decorative Victorian iron work and the 45 degree slated wood work that can still be seen around the stranded cafe.
